Partnered with a Taiwanese architecture firm to tackle the complexity of public works projects.

Challenge

Public works projects in Taiwan often span several years and involve complex administrative procedures. With frequent staff turnover, it becomes difficult to transfer knowledge and maintain project continuity.

Approach

Collaborated with an architecture firm specializing in public works. We conducted interviews with project assistants, architects, and site supervisors to understand pain points, then designed a web app tailored to streamline administrative workflows and improve collaboration.

Outcome

The solution simplified administrative tasks, reduced onboarding time for new team members, and ensured smoother knowledge transfer, making long-term public projects more efficient and manageable.

Research Insights

Contracts as the central reference:
Architects and assistants rely on contracts, carefully reviewing and marking key dates and required documents.

High administrative burden:
Managing documentation for public projects is time-consuming and often overwhelms team members.

Knowledge gaps from staff turnover:
Long project timelines and frequent team changes create difficulties in passing down project context.

Need for structured information:
Team members expressed the need for clearer, centralized access to essential project details.
